leatherbound 8vo with ribbed spine, facsimile with leading words, printed letterpress on laid paper, famous colonial cook book from 1742. There is a nip to the leather at the top of the spine strip, not going all the way through. Corners a little rubbed and one or two scuffs to the spine. I have treated the leather with the appropriate dressing and it looks quite lovely, there is a circular blindstamp on the front endpaper, a very well bound book having the look and feel of the original. covers are double-ruled in blind. has full page woodcut frontis, and other full-cpage illustrations within, red leather spine label with gilt title partrially rubbed but legible. small hole in gutter about half way down, internals as new. but for the blind stamp/ 276p 016432
